Terms of Service

These terms describe the OpenURLs bulk URL opener, user responsibilities, browser limitations, and service availability. By using openurls.cc or its tools, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. Stop using the service if you do not agree.

1. Purpose of the tool

OpenURLs parses, organizes, and opens URL lists in bulk. It identifies valid URLs, duplicates, and invalid entries in the current page, then relies on your browser to visit selected URLs. Enter links one per line, open batches manually or at a chosen interval, and review or export history.

The tool organizes links you provide and asks the browser to open them. It does not sign in to websites for you, verify page content, scan files for safety, or decide whether a link is appropriate to visit.

2. Acceptable use

Only open links that you are authorized to access and that comply with applicable law and website rules. Before opening links, confirm your right to access them and follow each destination’s access limits, copyright requirements, privacy policy, and terms.

3. Prohibited use

Do not use OpenURLs for unlawful access, bypassing security controls, distributing malicious links, disrupting services, or opening an unreasonable number of tabs. Do not use it for unauthorized scanning, attacks, bulk harassment, or automated abuse.

Do not help others access restricted resources you cannot share, trick people into opening link lists, or interfere with destination websites. You are responsible for the links you enter, organize, share, and open and for the consequences.

4. Browsers and third-party websites

Browsers may block new tabs, ask you to allow pop-ups, or limit how many pages open at once based on device resources. The tool cannot bypass these limits. Check a small group first, then open larger lists in batches.

When close previously opened links is enabled, the tool attempts to close tabs it opened and can still control. A browser may refuse a close request, and an automatic redirect can break the tab control reference. Automatic closing is not guaranteed for every site; check important pages yourself. A destination may also require sign-in, deny access, change its content, or redirect.

5. Availability and disclaimer

The website is provided as available. We work to maintain it but cannot guarantee operation in every browser, network, device, or URL case. We make no promises about destination content or availability. Features may change or be suspended for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. Verify important links yourself.

6. Local data and device responsibility

To restore your work, the homepage tool stores the URL list, settings, queue progress, and opening history in localStorage in the current browser. Other people with access to the device or browser profile may view this information. Manage device access and avoid saving sensitive links on public devices.

Clearing the input list, clearing opening history, and resetting the queue are separate actions. Use the relevant control for each task. To remove all site data saved in the browser, clear website data for openurls.cc in your browser settings.

7. Third-party websites and external links

OpenURLs does not operate the destination websites you visit through the tool or endorse their content, accuracy, security, products, services, or privacy practices. Check each domain and URL before continuing. Your interaction with a destination is governed by its own policies.

8. Intellectual property and user-provided links

The OpenURLs name, interface, page text, and tool code are protected by applicable intellectual property rules; third-party components follow their own licenses. Do not copy, sell, or misleadingly use the site brand or content without permission. Links and destination content remain with their rights holders, and you must have the right to use or share links you submit.

9. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, OpenURLs is not responsible for indirect loss, data loss, or business interruption caused by browser blocking, network failure, incorrect URLs, third-party changes, failed tab closing, or limited device resources. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for product, operational, legal, or security reasons. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
